I got an email yesterday from a complete stranger who found my photographic work on Deviantart, and invited me to join a website set up specifically for New Zealand artists to sell their art or photographic prints, or just display them.
I was really impressed with the style and layout of the site, and was able to join up and upload several images immediately with ease.
The site as just at it's very early stage, with more plans afoot to provide comments, categories and watermarks for large view images. At present, printing options for photographic work is in the form of prints and canvas, however there are plans to provide other media such as blocks in the future. I'm hoping it will also provide cards and plain mounted prints.
The only downside that I've come across was that it wouldn't accept a high quality 15mb file - the limit is 10mb. By the time I had reduced he file size, to under 10mb, my print options were smaller (No bigger than A3), which was disappointing.
But overall - a great start, and I encourage any New Zealand artists to join and support this website.
Cheers
Robyn

this is exciting. Congrats on this. Thanks for the great comment, and the beaver tails are called beaver tails, and for the life of me I cant recall what the maple sugar sticks are called.
